Criminal Records Services merging with Staffvetting.com

What’s happening?

We are pleased to let you know that over the coming months Criminal Records Services will merge into its sister company, Staffvetting.com Limited. This change will allow us to better support our clients by offering a broader range of quality screening solutions, including
BPSS, BS7858, career history verification, financial checks, international screening, and many more.

What does this mean for me?

Rest assured, the current team will still be here to provide you with the same great support and your access to our DBS platform remains unchanged. You may just over the coming months start to notice some branding changes in our communication with you along with
new invoicing arrangements from 1st August 2026.

What do I need to do?

The Invoicing Team at Staffvetting.com will take over the invoicing of existing clients from 1st August 2026. Most existing clients will be invoiced with 30-day credit terms from this date which allows greater flexibility.

Clients will also be required to add new bank details as any payments for the Staffvetting.com Limited invoices will need to be made to:

For your security, please contact our Accounts Team on 0191 588 7980 option 3 to verify these bank details before making any payment. If you are unable to pay by bank transfer, please let the accounts team know and they will be able to discuss other payment options with you. Can you also please ensure that whoever is responsible for Finance in your organisation is made aware of the above changes.

Why is Criminal Records Services merging with Staffvetting.com Limited? We’re bringing our services together with our sister company, Staffvetting.com Limited, to provide a more streamlined experience for our customers and to be able to bring you a much broader range of quality vetting services.
Will the service I receive change? No. The services you receive will continue as normal. Your existing processes, contacts (where applicable), and service standards will remain in place, and we’ll communicate any future enhancements well in advance.
Will I have to contact different people about my account? No, our current Team in the Leigh office will still be here to continue to provide the same great support and advice you’ve always received. You will have additional support from our Accounts Team for all things finance related.
Will my account or DBS checks be affected? No. Your account and ongoing checks will continue without interruption.
Is my data still secure? Yes. Protecting your data remains our highest priority. Staffvetting.com Limited maintains the highest levels of security measures and processes to protect personal information and complies with all relevant data protection legislation.
Will you still comply with UK GDPR and DBS requirements? Yes. We will continue to comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including UK GDPR and DBS Code of Practice requirements where applicable.
Will pricing change? No, we are not looking to change these as part of this merging of the businesses.
Who will invoice us? Following the transition, invoices will be issued by Staffvetting.com Limited. We have provided new bank details as well as contact details for our Accounts Team if you have any questions.
Why should I be confident in this change? Staffvetting.com Limited is the sister company of Criminal Records Services, so this is an internal organisational change rather than a change to the ownership of the business. Our commitment to delivering reliable, secure, and compliant services remains the same.
Do I need to do anything? You will need to add Staffvetting.com Limited to your approved supplier list and add the new bank details supplied. If we need anything further from you, we’ll contact you directly with clear instructions.
